Voice Over Description

warm, trustworthy, calming, sexy, intimate,
intelligent, conversational, friendly, professional,
alto, girl next door, character voices

I like reading about long walks on the beach and dinners in quaint cafes... errr, sorry. Wrong "about me".

When I was in elementary school, I was literally always the kid with their hand flailing in the air to read whatever needed to be read. I chose to take summer school when I was 9 just so I could learn another way to speak, still love french. After getting my degree in what might as well be underwater basket weaving ( Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences), I found a job in radio and my first rock band. I started building my voice brick by promo brick. As soon as I discovered I could actually read and sing for a living, I was in! A life in voiceover work seemed like a perfect fit.

I specialize in radio commercials, audiobooks, and eLearning.  I love finding friends and nemeses in a good book and letting locals know there's a deal on longnecks at their favorite bar (IYKYK).

My voice is warm, trustworthy, calming, and generally stays around an alto while speaking. I  have a native neutral american accent with a friendly tone.

If the project (or bedtime story) calls for it, I can bring in my list of characters:

  • Eunice- lates 70s grandmother with a bone to pick
  • Barbie Jean- Southern girl with more aquanet than sense
  • Jack- my male alter-ego that likes nothing more than making hearts melt and girls swoon
  • Sydney- loving grandpa
  • Gimble- animated ball of dough (why not?)

and more...

I have a Studiobricks VO Edition home studio equipped with a Sennheiser MKH 416 Microphone and an Apogee Duet PreAmp. I'm using Adobe Audition with Izotope plugins.

I strive to bring life and energy to each project, and I'm passionate about creating a voiceover that conveys character and charisma. I'm excited to bring my voice to your project, and I look forward to working with you.
